James "Stixx Hit It" Hutchinson

Biography: James Hutchinson (born March 18, 1989) known as J. Hutch and also Stixx Hit It is a male rapper / producer from Chicago, Illinois. As an infant, he was brought up in a troubled home, with a father on drugs and a struggling mother. He was neglected by his parents; as a result, he was taken away from them by court and brought to his paternal grandmother who raised him throughout his life. Stixx quoted, “Leave the past behind the present and look forward to seeing the future.”, and that’s how he moves on with his life.

He was drawn to music at age 10. He wrote his first rhyme in the 5th grade. At that point, he knew music was a big part of his life. He made his first beat at age 16. During this time he began to get very serious about music. He joined his first rap group called, Trakk Savagez. They started recording independently in 2005. At this time they recorded enough songs to do an album. However, they never got to the finish line. The group separated.

Stixx never stopped believing in his music so he kept on going as a solo artist. His experience as a solo artist includes writing, composing, and performing his own music. His performances include Olive Harvey Junior College at an Open Mic as his first public act. It was a success. From that point, He became more involved in doing events such as Talent Shows, Open Mics, and Community Parks. He would even join in on various street cypher gatherings.

Whenever Stixx sees an opportunity to be heard, he would take advantage of it. As a solo artist, he recorded a variety of songs in a different feel relating to love like How Do I Tell My Girl, club bangers like Diddy Boppin, and real stories of his own personal life experience like We Was. Just to name a few. There are many great and unique songs in his collection just waiting to be heard.

Stixx has a dream to be heard and respected as one of the best multi-talented Artists in the music industry next to Jay-Z, P. Diddy, T.I., and Lil’ Wayne to name a few Inspiring Icons.
